The European arm of an international, privately owned inter dealer broker was looking to expand in the UK. AHV was mandated to source acquisitions and execute the transaction.
Decillion, an international financial services group whose activities are focused on risk management and specialised financial services, were looking to expand their business in Europe and in particular within the UK. AHV was hired to identify potential acquisitions and, while working with the client, determined that the equity market was particularly poorly covered by the established, larger inter dealer brokers. AHV subsequently canvassed the market using well placed contacts within large investment banks and smaller, niche financial services companies to identify suitable equity inter dealer brokers.
Kappa Financial was identified as the best target with a good market reputation, excellent brokers and solid financial performance. AHV successfully advised Decillion on the acquisition of Kappa Financial.
The CEO of Decillion London, Bruce Bristow, later left the business to become a partner at AHV.
