AHV Associates is pleased to report a busy first half of the year. We closed a significant fund raising in the software space (see below) and advised on the buyout of a satellite communications company from a distressed parent. Meanwhile our restructuring team has been busy working on the turnaround of a European associate of a major global company. We are currently working on engagements in the fabric manufacturing, IT services, waste recycling, food additive and electronic manufacturing sectors.
AHV acted as the exclusive financial adviser to Active Navigation, in a successful private equity funding round involving a number of parties. The company has raised new capital for expansion and to strengthen its balance sheet.
Active Navigation is the leading provider of proactive legacy content management solutions. It offers software and associated consultancy services which allow an organisation to take control of its legacy content thus reducing risk and increasing productivity. Clients include major private sector and government organisations in the aerospace, defence, oil and gas and financial services sectors.
Annette Nabavi, Partner, worked with Active Navigation since 2010 and has supported the company through its successful debt and equity fundraisings. As part of the most recent deal, John O'Connell and Neil Kipling, both well known in the software sector, joined the Active Navigation board, as Chairman and non-executive director respectively.
