OUR STORY
AHV was founded by Andrew Harrington and Hanif Virji in 2001, to support privately-owned businesses with expert guidance and advisory services.
Andrew and Hanif have been friends since working together at Barclays de Zoete Wedd in 1988. During that time, they accumulated great experience working at Barclays and other large investment banks such as Salomon Brothers, JP Morgan, and Lazard.
AHV was initially established as a sector-agnostic corporate finance firm. However, in 2013, AHV achieved great success with a 75.5% stake sale of Club La Costa’s resort management business to Interval Leisure Group (currently Marriott Vacations Worldwide, NYSE: VAC). Since then, our client base has been almost equally divided between hospitality and various other sectors.
