ANDREW HARRINGTON
CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Andrew is a co-founding member of AHV Associates, having launched the business in 2001.
Andrew started his career in investment banking at Barclays in 1988. Between 1989 and 1998, Andrew worked at Salomon Brothers and was rated as the number one sector analyst globally in all the major corporate and institutional investor surveys.
In 1998, Andrew founded a telecoms company, providing telecommunications services to residential and business customers. He successfully grew the company to £25 million in revenues, and over 60,000 customers by the end of 2000.
Andrew has a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and has a D.Phil in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford.

VASILIS MAKAMITZOGLOU CFA
VICE PRESIDENT
Vasilis joined AHV in January 2017 as an analyst, and has since progressed to his current role. Prior to joining the business, Vasilis worked in accounting-related roles at various firms, including Deloitte (as a contractor), Bluebay Asset Management, and Apex Fund Services.
Vasilis has a degree in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business. While he was earning his degree, he completed a gap year in which he worked as an accountant, macro research assistant, and trader. He subsequently earned an MSc in Investment Management with Distinction from Cass Business School and is also a CFA charterholder.
In his spare time, Vasilis enjoys playing and watching sports such as basketball and squash.

BERNADO TRINDADE
Bernardo joined AHV in June 2025 as an Intern. He has previously worked in asset management as well as engineering-related roles at MST Solutions and Lusoclima – Soluções de Engenharia, respectively.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Lisbon and subsequently obtained a Master of Science in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
In his spare time, Bernardo enjoys playing golf and collecting old books.
